Focus and Scope
Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Journal invites academics, researchers, and students to contribute the results of their studies and research in the fields of hospitality management, sustainable tourism, hotel and resort operations, ecotourism, tourism policy, and related disciplines. The journal aims to strengthen the exchange of scientific knowledge with other institutions and stakeholders in the global hospitality and tourism industry.
Peer Review Process
Every manuscript submitted to the Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Journal will be independently reviewed by at least two reviewers using a double-blind review system. The decision to publish, revise, or reject a manuscript is based on the reviewers’ reports and recommendations. In certain cases, the editor may refer the manuscript to a third reviewer before making a final decision, if deemed necessary.
The editor of the Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Journal is responsible for deciding which articles are suitable for publication. The validity of the work and its relevance to researchers and practitioners must always guide these decisions. Editors may be guided by the journal’s editorial board and are bound by applicable laws concerning defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism.
Editors may consult with other editors or reviewers when making publication decisions. Plagiarism checks are conducted using plagiarism detection tools.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a wider global exchange of knowledge and encourages sustainable development in the tourism and hospitality sectors.
Journal History
Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Journal is published by the Research and Community Service Institute of Politeknik Unggulan Cipta Mandiri. The journal aims to advance studies in hospitality management, sustainable tourism, and related fields, while promoting the exchange of scientific knowledge with institutions, industry partners, and communities.
The editorial board accepts articles written in English, with clear and objective writing that presents research findings, case studies, or critical analyses in the fields of hospitality and sustainable tourism. The Hospitality and Sustainable Tourism Journal is published twice a year, in February and June.
The journal invites scholars, practitioners, and policymakers in hospitality and tourism studies to contribute articles that meet high academic standards. The editorial board reserves the right to edit submitted manuscripts without changing the substance or intent of the content.
